Take a snowshoe trip around Castle Parks, Waterton, or Crowsnest Pass this winter!
This winter, we are offering Friday night snowshoes, snowshoe and fondue, and guided snowshoes around southern Alberta. Scroll down to find out more information about these adventures and join in on the fun!

Join us on the trails around Crowsnest Pass for a 2-3hr snowshoe. This will occur Friday nights throughout the winter. It is a fun way to get outside and enjoy the winter with friends! The location of the snowshoe will depend on conditions, and the location will change weekly. Expect to do between 10-30 minutes of driving.
Intensity: Easy to Moderate
Distance: Between 2 – 5km
Duration: 2 - 3 hours (including driving time)
Meeting Time: 6:30pm
Meeting Location: Stone's Throw Café, Blairmore
Use of hiking poles (upon request)
Emergency equipment and communication devices
A local, professional ACMG Guide, including:
* 80hr Advanced Adventure Medic
* Incredible knowledge of the area
* Personal gear – please dress for the weather
* Waterproof and warm layers
* Toque or other head wear
* Hand/toe warmers
* Waterproof boots
* Water (1L is recommended)
* Additional snacks, if you wish
If there is no snow, don’t worry, we will hike!
When do we cancel? We will cancel and give a full refund if the temperatures are below -20c (before windchill). Otherwise, we dress warm, like a true Canadian.
Uplift Adventures’ waivers are required to be signed before starting the event.
Guests under 18 years of age, must have parental consent to attend the event. Guests under 15 years of age, must be accompanied by an adult.
Guests must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, including cannabis, while out on the snowshoe portion of this event. Uplift Adventures has the right to refuse participation if a guest is suspected under the influence prior to the snowshoe. A return or compensation will not be given to the customer.
Please advise Uplift Adventures of any medical conditions or allergies prior to the event.
Cancellation Policy: Must cancel within 48hrs of tour for refund. For group bookings (4+ people), must cancel 7 days prior to event for refund.
* Warm clothing for the weather as the weather changes quickly in the mountains
* A waterproof layer, such as a rain coat
* A backpack
* 1L of water
* Hiking or running shoes (Hiking shoes are recommended for The Ultimate Frank Slide Experience)
* Your camera!
* You are welcome to bring your own snacks, but it is not required* A lunch if you did not purchase one
