With a degree in Environmental Science and a passion for understanding everything from rocks to history, we create adventures where you get to soak in all the information about the area you are visiting.

We will explore a beautiful creek bed that is rich in the history and culture of Crowsnest Pass. Allow our guide to tell stories while experiencing the unique ecosystem and take in the views at this local’s favourite outdoor spot. After building up an appetite, pick from a variety of small plates designed especially for your adventure. Pair it with one of the our carefully chosen wines and you have the recipe for a perfect evening.

Ghost Town, BBQ & Art

This adventure will make you feel as if you are a part of the hustle and bustle of the mining days at the now ghost town, Lille. Hike into the famous ghost town outside of Crowsnest Pass called Lille. Create your own art piece of the ghost town, enjoy a BBQ onsite specifically for you, and then explore the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre.

Must have a minimum of 4 people booked for adventure to occur.


GHOST TOWN, ART & BBQ

Our professional guides will form a ‘painted picture’ of this town and fill your adventure with stories from miners and locals. While at Lille, have your hand at creating the town on your own canvas to fill in what is missing. As you tap into your artistic side, you will smell your BBQ cooking in the background. Show off your piece of art when we return to the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre and wonder through the exhibits.

Is this the adventure for you? This adventure is designed for people who like to learn about culture and history. You don’t have to be an artist, but you do like to create. The hike isn’t very difficult, but it is long. We recommend some fitness, but you don’t have to be an athlete.

9:30am | Travel to trailhead

9:30 - 3pm | Adventure Time! Hike to Ghost Town!

3 - 4pm | Arrive back at Frank Slide Interpretive Centre

The Ultimate Frank Slide Experience

Are you looking for something special and truly unique for your adventure-seeking souls? This is the experience for you as we take you on this special journey overlooking the Frank Slide and having exclusive access to the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre.

Must have a minimum of 4 people booked for adventure to occur.


THE ULTIMATE FRANK SLIDE EXPERIENCE

The day will begin with an interpretive hike up Turtle Mountain, the mountain that fell on the town of Frank. You will gain in depth knowledge from our professional guides as we indulge into the geology, flora and fauna and culture of this area. Enjoy snacks and an on mountain picnic, specially made for you from our local bakeries and cafes. After the hike, take a little bit of time for yourself to freshen up for your exclusive evening events. We will meet again for an after-hours dinner at the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre. While enjoying your exquisite dinner at the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre, listen to stories from Frank Slide interpreters and locals. After dinner, enjoy a walk around the Interpretive Centre for your private access to exhibits.

Is this the adventure for you? This experience is specially designed to alert all your senses. This adventure focuses heavily on learning and creating exception memories. If you like to treat yourself, have a special occasion and want private access to events, this adventure is for you. The hike is rated as difficult, so you will want to ensure that you are physically able to hike up a mountain. This is a unique experience.

The interpretive hikes vary in length; however, you will always want to bring:
* Warm clothing for the weather as the weather changes quickly in the mountains
* A waterproof layer, such as a rain coat
* A backpack
* Sunglasses
* Sunscreen
* Hat
* 1L of water
* Hiking or running shoes (Hiking shoes are recommended for The Ultimate Frank Slide Experience)
* Your camera!
* You are welcome to bring your own snacks, but it is not required
* Gear [ You can rent gear from us when you book ]

We want to share this adventure with you; however, we understand that ‘life’ happens sometimes.There is a 48 hour cancellation policy, which allows you to change/cancel or refund your booking up to 48 hours outside your booked adventure (up to 7 days for group bookings). Please call us at least 48 hours prior to your adventure to cancel or reschedule and we will fully refund, no questions asked.Late-comers or no-shows will not be rescheduled or refunded.For group bookings (6 people or more), we require a cancellation of 7 days or more.
"Oh Cann-a-bis". While it is legal in Canada, we want to make sure all of our guests enjoy their experience with Uplift Adventures. Also for liability reasons, we are going to ask our guests to not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the adventure.
