October Full Day Hikes

Description: Start this adventure by getting your feet wet! Literally. We will cross the West Castle River and then head up and up. It is well worth it though. Visit the three alpine lakes while taking in the views of Crowsnest Mountain to the north. Listen to the golden trout jump in the lakes as you peer up at the rocky Barnaby Ridge. Are you a strong hiker and want to take this adventure to the next level? Ask us how and we will guide you there.

Meeting Location: Beaver Mine's General Store

Description: This adventure is a beautiful fall hike with beautiful colours and views. Bring your bike to save time along the gravel road. The hike is long and will test your stamina, but the rewards of the beauty are worth it. Must be in good physical condition, have proper footwear and attire, and provide transportation suited for backcountry roads (gravel with pot holes).

Ability Level: Challenging
Hiking Time: 7 – 8 hrs
Driving Time to Trail Head: 1 hr
Meeting Time: 8am
Meeting Location: Stone's Throw Cafe

Description: This adventure is a beautiful fall hike with beautiful colours and views of the Continental Divide. The hike is long, but not steep as we will hike along an old road to the top. At the top, we are greeted by a fire lookout and 360 views. Must be in good physical condition, have proper footwear and attire, and provide transportation suited for backcountry roads (gravel with pot holes).

The guided hikes vary in length; however, you will always want to bring:
* Warm clothing for the weather as the weather changes quickly in the mountains
* A waterproof layer, such as a rain coat
* A backpack
* Sunglasses
* Sunscreen
* Hat
* 1L of water
* Hiking or running shoes (Hiking shoes are recommended for The Ultimate Frank Slide Experience)
* Your camera!
* You are welcome to bring your own snacks, but it is not required* A lunch if you did not purchase one
* Gear [ You can rent gear from us when you book ]
* Transportation to the trail head
We want to share this adventure with you; however, we understand that ‘life’ happens sometimes.There is a 48 hour cancellation policy, which allows you to change/cancel or refund your booking up to 48 hours outside your booked adventure (up to 7 days for group bookings). Please call us at least 48 hours prior to your adventure to cancel or reschedule and we will fully refund, no questions asked.Late-comers or no-shows will not be rescheduled or refunded.For group bookings (6 people or more), we require a cancellation of 7 days or more.
