What to expect?

Join our professional guides and scientists for a world of wonder as we venture up a wintery canyon to chase frozen waterfalls. The wonderful world of winter is full of science. We have some special activities for you and your friends as we uncover ice (ice, ice baby!).

Your experience will include a nature walk and science activities that are full of fun and experimentation. Uncover the truth about ice and winter.

The ice walk is a gentle walk with some short steeper sections. Uplift Adventures will provide you with ice cleats to make your ice adventure more enjoyable. During earlier season or late season, some sections may require some careful navigation as the ice isn’t as built up. We enter a beautiful canyon with ice forming out of the rock, and then will come to a stunning waterfall. Here we will have some time to take pictures before returning.

This experience is appropriate for children over the age of 8 and even older children up to the age of 110 😉

Be prepared to be a scientist-in-training.

We have several dates mid-week (Monday – Friday) for the ice walk. You can also request a private ice walk by emailing info@upliftadventures.ca.
